Placed in the field by her mother to play
But none of Buttercup’s friends have appeared today
With a tear in her eye
And not wanting to cry
She didn’t know quite what to say.
She watches as the butterflies and busy bees
And there are other animals in the distance she sees
Wishing someone would come over
And chew on some clover
And while away time in the breeze.
Then hopping threw the field to say hello
Comes Paulina Bunny to chat and show
All her friends really do care
They’ll be over later to share
Their stories and off for a walk they’ll all go.
